This is going to be my vegie patch

Decided I needed something to do.   Still haven’t looked for work.   Not to sure what I am going to be doing or how long I am going to be here.  Instead I went and bought a punnett of tomato plants and a packet of carrot seeds and a packet of bok choy seeds.  I tried to get onions as well but the right type weren’t available.  Will look again later in the week.  Came home and turned a patch of ground over in the garden and pulled out the weeds and other offending material.  (plastic bag, chicken bones, runners and roots from mint)  Watered the patch and turned it over again.   Fertilized it and let it sit.  Think I should have watered it a bit more.   I think the water only penetrated the top soil.  

I haven’t planted a vegie garden before so it will be interesting to see if it works.  Bit of a hobby anyway.   Need something  to do.
