Cousin Fred came down to see mum today.   After dropping in on mum we went across to the Euston club for lunch.  Fred mentioned that he had been thinking about going to the country and western weekend at the Toolybuc club.  Sounds like a good idea Fred, why not I said in an unusual spur of the moment decision.  I would feel like I was abandoning mum but we’ll call in and let her know.

And what a great decision it was too.   Great entertainment (well most of it anyway) and I am not a country and western fan.  The highlight of the show was a fantastic pianist / entertainer Peter Horan.  I bought one of his cd’s – there were too many to choose from and hopefully I will enjoy it.  If not oh well I have supported a local artist.  He was worth it for the show.  

He was one of the last acts and Fred insisted on staying to watch his performance so we got home a lot later than I expected to.
